Featured in Corning’s white paper, our innovative manufacturing technology for SQ-SHED

S-Quatre is engaged in the research and development of novel cell-based therapies (regenerative medicine products) utilizing SQ-SHED, a proprietary stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED), with the aim of developing new treatments for pediatric and rare diseases for which no effective therapies currently exist.

In collaboration with Corning Life Sciences (“Corning”), we are advancing the development of next-generation large-scale manufacturing method for commercial use and have successfully established a proprietary process optimized for the characteristics of SQ-SHED. This platform also holds potential for broader applications across a variety of cell-based products beyond SQ-SHED.

In recognition of this technological achievement, our initiative was featured in Corning’s latest white paper, "Producing MSC-derived Cell Therapies from Isolation to Large-scale Expansion: a Journey of Workflows, Technologies, and Case Studies." Furthermore, in preparation for late-stage clinical trials, we are currently collaborating with Nipro Corporation to develop a formulation manufacturing process based on this platform. We remain committed to driving innovation and advancing development to deliver SQ-SHED-based therapies to patients worldwide as swiftly as possible.
